Integrated Lighting

Modern lobby with minimalist decor, featuring two dark lounge chairs facing a geometric, illuminated wall niche with four orange seats. Hanging globe lights, potted plants, and integrated lighting complete the contemporary setting.

There are multiple things to consider when illuminating interior surfaces, graphical display systems and built-up structures.

How will lighting elements be housed? What cabling will be required? What thermal management solutions will be employed? How will safety standards be met?

At Unibox, we have over 10 years of experience in creating integrated lighting for applications of all types. Our in-house electrical engineers work collaboratively with designers and contractors to ensure that we provide solutions that are optimised to perform according to their functional, aesthetic, environmental and logistical requirements.

Internal Light Panel
A thin, rectangular, illuminated white panel glows against a dark background, its LED display lighting creating a sharp contrast between the bright surface and the surrounding darkness.

Light panels are designed to deliver homogenous illumination from within shallow recesses such as those found in ceiling voids and back-lit signs. A carefully calculated matrix of dots is laser-etched into sheets of optical grade acrylic to achieve a soft, even distribution of light across the entire panel and out into the surrounding environment.

Recessed Lightbars
A black carpeted staircase with integrated lighting—illuminated white strips on each step’s edge and bright white lighting outlining the perimeter of the landing and stairs.

Recessed lightbars are designed to sit flush with the surface of the area into which they are installed. Available in a range of different shapes, sizes, depths and performance specifications, lightbars can be integrated directly into shelves, ceilings, walls, floors and more. They are ideal for delivering sleek, ultra-efficient lighting into retail displays and architectural features where safety and aesthetics are of central importance.

Recessed Lightboxes

Recessed lightboxes enable the creation of sleek, energy-efficient lighting systems that sit completely flush with the surface of the area into which they are installed. Recessed lightboxes can be manufactured in different shapes and sizes and can be supplied with a wide range of LEDs to provide the optimum illumination in environments of all types.
