Lighting Solutions
At Unibox, we specialise in creating modular, adaptable lighting solutions that enhance architecture, displays, and interiors with dynamic, energy-efficient LED technology. From concept engineering to prototyping and full production, our lighting systems are designed to offer flexibility, visual impact, and integration into various environments.
Our UK engineering & manufacturing team can collaborate with you to bring your lighting concepts to life.
We speak the language of lighting design and understand the problems that architects, lighting designers and design agencies face. We can process your objectives into a physical product.
Over the last 10 years, we have been creating an ever-growing range of LED lighting systems that enable interior environments to reach their full potential. By offering unique insights, design expertise and manufacturing capabilities, we can work alongside you to develop lighting systems that deliver.

Ceiling Lightboxes
A ceiling lightbox is a lighting fixture that fits into or onto the ceiling. They can be used as a luminaire or to provide decorative illumination across large areas. Ceiling Lightboxes have many customisable options including bespoke sizing and shapes, maintenance access hatches, various suspension or fixing methods, and finishes customised to individual project requirements. The system supports advanced lighting options including full dimming, high colour-rendering, colour-tuneable or colour-changeable LEDs, DALI compatibility and PIR sensors. These Lightboxes incorporate fire-retardant backing panels.

Linear Lighting
Our Linear lighting system is a fully customisable linear LED fitting, designed to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements in various interior spaces. The system supports multiple mounting configurations, including suspended and ceiling-mounted installations, and offers a selection of diffusers to achieve desired lighting effects.

Light Panels
Light Panels utilise optical grade acrylic light guide plates (LGPs) laser etched with a precise dot matrix to ensure consistent light distribution across the panel’s surface. They are used to illuminate various surfaces and materials. The LGPs are complemented by diffusers that enhance light uniformity and minimise glare. Available in ultra-slim 10mm thicknesses, these panels are suitable for applications with limited installation space or weight constraints. We offer a range of white LED modules with a range of colour temperatures and high luminous efficacy. Unibox provides tailored solutions with expert technical support and bespoke consultancy services, ensuring that each Light Panel meets the specific needs of each project.

Display Lighting
LED Lightbars are designed to provide both ambient and task illumination in various settings. Lightbars combine energy efficient LEDs with a range of diffusers and slim aluminium profiles to meet the spatial, functional, and aesthetic requirements of for a project. They can be customised in terms of colour temperature, beam angle, lumen output, and secondary optics to suit specific displays and showcase products effectively.

LED Signage & Illuminated Sign Solutions
LED signage and illuminated signs are used to create clear, illuminated messaging in retail, commercial and architectural spaces. At Unibox, we design and manufacture LED signs that are built around practical installation, reliable performance and long-term use. Whether integrated into modular display systems or supplied as standalone signs, our LED signage solutions can be tailored in size, format and mounting method to suit the requirements of each project. Common applications include retail branding, wayfinding and feature signage within commercial interiors.

Fabric Faced Lightboxes
Our fabric faced lightboxes combine sleek aluminium frames with flexible fabric graphics. Each lightbox can be tailored in size, shape, illumination type, and mounting method to suit specific project needs. The modular sections allow for easy on-site assembly, while printed graphics can be quickly updated to reflect new branding or seasonal campaigns. Engineered with tested components, these lightboxes use environmentally friendly technologies and materials. These lightboxes are known as “Ledge” here at Unibox.

Frequently asked questions
We support a wide range of projects across diverse environments, including retail, hospitality, commercial, architectural, and exhibition spaces. Our products are inherently versatile and can be readily adapted to suit different spaces, specifications, and design requirements. From bespoke lighting features and aluminium profile systems to large-scale display system roll-outs, our team is experienced in delivering solutions at varying scales and levels of complexity.
We typically work from concepts developed by brands, architects, or design agencies. Our role is to engineer and manufacture those ideas into practical, buildable, and cost-effective solutions. By managing the technical design development and production process in-house, we ensure efficiency, consistency, and a final outcome that stays true to the original vision.
Where required, we can develop prototypes or samples to validate performance, materials, and buildability before full production begins. This process helps identify potential challenges early, reduces risk, and provides confidence that the final solution will meet both technical and visual expectations.
Yes. Every project is supported by a dedicated account manager who provides consistent communication and coordination from initial discussion through to final delivery. This ensures clarity at every stage and a single, reliable point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Yes, we work both across the UK and internationally.
We support projects worldwide, partnering with brands, design agencies, and architects across a diverse range of locations. Our team is highly experienced in managing international logistics, production, and delivery, ensuring every project runs seamlessly regardless of geography.
For European imports, we’re fully set up with VAT registrations in both France and the Netherlands, allowing us to clear goods into Europe on a DDP basis with ease.
To get started, we typically need an outline of your concept, project goals, location, timeline, and any drawings or references you may have. The more information you can share, and the earlier you engage with us, the better we can guide feasibility, cost, and delivery. Wherever you are in the process, our team is here to help shape the most practical path forward. However, whatever stage your project is at, our team is happy to step in and help shape the most practical path forward.
