Custom Light Panels for Lyra Restaurant, Bahrain

Working with lighting designers INTO Lighting, Unibox supplied custom light panels for Lyra, the award-winning Greek restaurant overlooking Marassi Beach at Vida Hotel, Bahrain.

Integrated into the restaurant’s dramatic centrepiece bar, the panels create layers of warm illumination behind marble, onyx and agate, helping Sagrada’s oyster-shell-inspired design glow from within. Customised light levels across the installation enhance the natural variation of each material while maintaining a consistent visual effect.

The result is a theatrical focal point inspired by the mythology and landscapes of Greece — and part of an interior recognised at the 2025 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, where Lyra won the Standalone category.
