At Easter Road, the players’ tunnel has gone from a bare concrete corridor to one of the stadium’s most photographed spaces. Working alongside 442 Design and the wider project team, Unibox engineered a fully illuminated tunnel system that combines broadcast-quality lighting with robust, precision-made finishes.
Every step now builds anticipation — for players as they prepare to enter the pitch, for fans following stadium tours, and for millions watching live on TV. The illuminated tunnel strengthens Hibernian FC’s brand presence, delivers the psychological buildup players expect at elite level, and ensures every camera angle tells the right story.
From concept to engineered reality
442 Design created the vision: a tunnel that wasn’t just a passageway, but a high-energy stage for players and a branded moment for the club. Our role was to make that concept a reality. Using our factory-engineered aluminium framework and advanced LED systems, we delivered a solution that’s durable enough for the demands of professional football while meeting the visual standards of broadcast media.
The result is a tunnel that photographs beautifully, amplifies atmosphere on matchdays, and doubles as a key talking point for stadium tours — showing how careful design and manufacturing can elevate every detail of the fan and player experience.
