Exploration, Engineered:
Inside the Shackleton Flagship Store, Piccadilly

In the heart of London’s Piccadilly, Shackleton’s new flagship store captures the brand’s enduring spirit of exploration and endurance through purposeful design and precision engineering.

Unibox worked alongside Into Lighting and WDC Creative to turn the design concept into a refined, tactile retail environment. At its core, the store combines three key Unibox elements — LAB-35 modular displays, LED lightboxes, and a custom-engineered linear ceiling lighting feature.

Modern clothing shop interior with racks of jackets, trousers, and shoes on display, mannequins in stylish outfits near large windows featuring creative window display ideas, and city buildings visible outside.
A modern clothes shop with industrial decor displays jackets and coats on rails and mannequins. Metal shelving units hold folded clothes, and a large screen at the back shows an exploration-themed image.

Illumination that tells a story

Lighting plays a vital role in shaping the visitor experience. Our LED lightboxes bring warmth and storytelling to the space, subtly highlighting Shackleton’s heritage and brand narrative.

Above, a custom hexagonal ceiling light feature provides both aesthetic focus and functional illumination. The design, realised in collaboration with Into Lighting, was engineered by Unibox to match the creative intent — a geometric outline made from linear LED elements, each supplied with bespoke elumdat data to ensure perfect integration into the overall lighting scheme.

The result is a striking visual centrepiece that anchors the space and mirrors the precision found in Shackleton’s products.
