Modular retail displays for
Fudge & Sons
Cycle Store

Fudge & Sons Cycle Store in Paddington needed a flexible display system that could make better use of its retail space while giving multiple cycling brands a strong visual presence.

Using our LAB-35 modular display system, we configured and manufactured a complete range of retail displays and visual communication features to suit the store.

A standout feature is the full-wall Brompton bicycle display, combining perforated steel and CNC timber shelving and back panels with integrated LED lightbars and graphic lightboxes. The system maximises merchandising space while reflecting the clever, space-saving thinking behind Brompton’s folding bikes.

Elsewhere, double-level bike displays with illuminated shelves allow full-size bikes from brands including Merida and Raleigh to be displayed above one another without wall mounting, increasing merchandising capacity while maintaining 360-degree access.

Built-in till points and branded graphic lightboxes complete the space, while Fudge & Sons’ distinctive orange branding was subtly incorporated into the profiles, an approach influenced by our previous work with Tom Dixon. Powder-coated finishes based on the wider F&S colour palette help tie the different display elements together into a cohesive retail environment.
