Sustainability, Engineered
into everything we do
At Unibox, sustainability isn’t a separate initiative,it’s built into how we design, manufacture and deliver. We focus on creating modular, efficient systems that reduce waste, extend product life and lower environmental impact, without compromising on performance.

Sustainability is becoming a core requirement across retail, commercial and interior environments, not just an aspiration. Clients are under increasing pressure to reduce waste, improve efficiency and demonstrate environmental responsibility across their projects.
At Unibox, we respond to this by engineering solutions that are inherently more sustainable. By focusing on modular design, material efficiency and long-term usability, we help reduce environmental impact while delivering practical, high-performance systems.

Zero to Landfill
We are committed to sending zero waste to landfill, ensuring that all materials generated across our operations are reused, recycled, or recovered responsibly. By rethinking how we manage waste, we aim to minimise environmental impact and make the most of valuable resources. Through continuous monitoring and innovation, we are driving progress towards a circular economy where nothing is wasted, and everything has a purpose.

Smarter Materials & Energy Use
We prioritise smarter material choices, offering recycled aluminium and using modular designs that support longevity, adaptability and reuse, reducing waste and extending product lifecycles.
Our products are packaged with recyclable foam where possible, helping minimise waste across the supply chain. We also power 100% of our operations with renewable electricity, combining responsible materials and production to deliver sustainable, high-performance solutions.

Reducing Our Carbon Impact
Reducing our carbon impact is a key priority at Unibox, and we take a data-driven, transparent approach to making meaningful progress.
Through our latest carbon footprint assessment, we’ve gained a clear understanding of emissions across operations, energy use and travel, helping us identify where we can make the greatest impact. This insight is guiding targeted improvements, including increased energy efficiency, reduced travel, optimised transport and more considered design and manufacturing.
As we develop our carbon management strategy, we’re committed to setting clear reduction targets, tracking performance and delivering measurable year-on-year improvements as part of a long-term, responsible approach to sustainability.

Our Focus
We concentrate our efforts on three key areas:
Responsible sourcing
Working with sustainable materials and trusted partners.
Design for circularity
Creating systems that can be reused, adapted and extended.
Reducing environmental impact
Lowering waste, energy use and overall carbon footprint.

Frequently asked questions
We support a wide range of projects across diverse environments, including retail, hospitality, commercial, architectural, and exhibition spaces. Our products are inherently versatile and can be readily adapted to suit different spaces, specifications, and design requirements. From bespoke lighting features and aluminium profile systems to large-scale display system roll-outs, our team is experienced in delivering solutions at varying scales and levels of complexity.
We typically work from concepts developed by brands, architects, or design agencies. Our role is to engineer and manufacture those ideas into practical, buildable, and cost-effective solutions. By managing the technical design development and production process in-house, we ensure efficiency, consistency, and a final outcome that stays true to the original vision.
Where required, we can develop prototypes or samples to validate performance, materials, and buildability before full production begins. This process helps identify potential challenges early, reduces risk, and provides confidence that the final solution will meet both technical and visual expectations.
Yes. Every project is supported by a dedicated account manager who provides consistent communication and coordination from initial discussion through to final delivery. This ensures clarity at every stage and a single, reliable point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Yes, we work both across the UK and internationally.
We support projects worldwide, partnering with brands, design agencies, and architects across a diverse range of locations. Our team is highly experienced in managing international logistics, production, and delivery, ensuring every project runs seamlessly regardless of geography.
For European imports, we’re fully set up with VAT registrations in both France and the Netherlands, allowing us to clear goods into Europe on a DDP basis with ease.
To get started, we typically need an outline of your concept, project goals, location, timeline, and any drawings or references you may have. The more information you can share, and the earlier you engage with us, the better we can guide feasibility, cost, and delivery. Wherever you are in the process, our team is here to help shape the most practical path forward. However, whatever stage your project is at, our team is happy to step in and help shape the most practical path forward.
