Illuminated Bar for The Grand Brasserie
Unibox creates a bespoke illuminated bar top for The Grand’s fine-dining brasserie and cocktail lounge.
Our team partnered with the developers at the Mikhail Hotels & Leisure Group on the design and manufacture of an illuminated bar for the venue’s main dining space. We worked to uphold each element of our client’s brief and create an installation that would blend seamlessly with The Grand’s sumptuous interior scheme, five-star services, and opulent atmosphere.
We used a series of our LED light panels to deliver elegant illumination from within blocks of premium-grade onyx. We recommended that each of these should use 2700K LEDs to complement the rich colours and warm tones that were to define the building’s Art Deco design scheme. Linear luminaires mounted onto the overhang of the bar’s surface enhanced the overall aesthetic of the dining environment with subtle accent lighting.
The entire installation was engineered to operate using a Casambi control system to enable The Grand’s team to adjust the brightness of the bar top to suit different events or times of the day.
