Illuminated Bar Top for Scott’s Richmond
Unibox created a bespoke illuminated bar top for seafood restaurant Scott’s Richmond in London.
In collaboration with 18FIFTY, Unibox produced an illuminated bar top for high-end seafood restaurant, Scott’s Richmond. We manufactured the bar top by integrating our LED light panels into different levels within the cast glass pieces. The Unibox team followed the brief to create an installation that would blend seamlessly into the main dining room aesthetic, and complement the beautiful venetian chandeliers, cut-glass walls and mirrors. Extensive planning was required as there were many reflective surfaces to consider.
The client, Caprice Holdings had a vision of old glamour, while respecting the legacy of the Scott’s Mayfair restaurant chain. They wanted the lighting to be central to, but not over-power the space. As warm lighting is used throughout the restaurant to illuminate the artwork and tables, we programmed our LED panels within the bar top to use the same colour temperature.
Due to its striking beauty, Scott’s Richmond was shortlisted for the prestigious [d]arc awards and was featured on the front cover the The Lighting Journal.
